A Fishy Update

Well, it has been a little while since we have posted anything so I thought I would give a little summary on what has been going on the past month.

We bought a new fish tank for our anniversary because we felt our old one was becoming overcrowded. We ended up upgrading from a 10 gallon tank to a 30 gallon tank. The new tank looked great. We even bought some fake plants to beautify the environment. (for the fish of course) However, our fish came down with a disease called Ichthyophthirius or Ich and we had to treat the tank with a chemical that is hard on the fish. In the end we lost both our clown loaches and a few guppies.

The tank is fine now and we just have billions of guppies that are now out growing the new tank. We were sad to lose our loaches but it will make it easier for us to deal with the fish when we move.

In other news, we now have a place to stay when we get to South Bend. We had been on the waiting list for student housing and we were able to get the last available apartment. We plan on staying in the apartment for a few months while we look for a house and get situated to life in Indiana.

Well, I think that will do it for now. Everything is going well for us. Becky is just stressing to get her masters degree finished up and I'm stressing for her as well. (The whole moving thing is a little stressful too :-) ) The time is flying by way to fast. It is hard to believe it is almost July. We will keep you posted as we have more exciting events in our lives. I'll leave you with a picture we took while we were in Hawaii.
